One of three artists selected to represent the Royal College of Art at Art Dubai - three of my photographed paintings were sent as a digital file from my studio at the Royal College of Art in London and printed on-sight in Dubai. The following is an extract from the catalogue -

"The photograph of the paintings gives us a distance to the reception of the work. Through the nature of the detail, the scale of the object is revealed to us.

Sometimes in my photographs of painted books, the scale and subject are evidenced.

But sometimes there are no clues as to scale or content and some things are open in a different way. Some things are denied to us and others left open."
